Courses

The following courses are proudly offered by Jedburgh Corp.  We run a safe & professional range with no drill sergeant impersonations.

Pistol Gunfighting - This 2-day class is appropriate for shooters who are experienced in safe firearms handling.  Shooters of all skill levels can expect to be challenged throughout the fast paced course.  Cost of the course is $300.

Program of Instruction:

  • Safety
  • Application of the Fundamental of Marksmanship
  • Graduated process to instruct students in precision pistol engagements
  • Use of cover
  • Target discrimination
  • Shooting while moving
  • There will be many timed drills to challenge shooters and measure progress.

Required Equipment:

  • 800 rounds of factory ammunition
  • Pistol in good working order (bring a backup in the same caliber if possible), 4 magazines
  • Strong side holster
  • Magazine pouch that will hold at least 2 magazines
  • Sturdy belt or duty belt
  • Comfortable clothing (no tank tops or flip flops)
  • Eye and ear protection

Pistol Gunfighting 2 - This 2-day class is appropriate for experienced shooters who have attended previous basic firearms training.  Weapons permit from your state of residence (concealed carry, etc) are a requirement for attendance to this advanced course.  Military or Law Enforcement identification can also be used.  Cost of the course is $400.

Program of Instruction:

  • Safety
  • Application of the Fundamental of Marksmanship
  • Graduated process to instruct students in precision pistol engagements
  • Low-Light Engagements
  • Use of cover
  • Target discrimination
  • Shooting while moving
  • There will be many timed drills to challenge shooters and measure progress.

Required Equipment:

  • 900-1000 rounds of factory ammunition
  • Pistol in good working order (bring a backup in the same caliber if possible), 4 magazines
  • Strong side holster
  • Magazine pouch that will hold at least 2 magazines
  • Flashlight with spare batteries (spare flashlight is recommended)
  • Sturdy belt or duty belt
  • Comfortable clothing (no tank tops or flip flops)
  • Eye and ear protection

Pistol Instructor Course – This 6-day class is appropriate for advanced shooters interested in developing instructor skills.  Cost of the course is $800.

  • Safety
  • Instructing the Fundamental of Marksmanship
  • Instructor Techniques
  • Student Assessments
  • Range set-up
  • Precision pistol engagements
  • Use of cover / barricade shooting
  • Low light fire
  • Target discrimination
  • Shooting while moving
  • There will be many timed drills to challenge shooters and measure progress.

Required Equipment:

  • 1200 rounds of factory ammunition
  • Pistol in good working order (bring a backup in the same caliber if possible), 4 magazines
  • Strong side holster
  • Magazine pouch that will hold at least 2 magazines
  • Flashlight with spare batteries (spare flashlight recommended)
  • Sturdy belt or duty belt
  • Comfortable clothing (no tank tops or flip flops)
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Note taking material

Carbine Gunfighting - This 2-day class is appropriate for shooters who are experienced in safe firearms handling.  Shooters of all skill levels can expect to be challenged throughout the fast paced course.  Cost of the course is $300.

Program of Instruction:

  • Safety
  • Zeroing
  • Application of the Fundamental of Marksmanship
  • Graduated process to instruct students in precision carbine engagements
  • Use of cover
  • Target discrimination
  • There will be many timed drills to challenge shooters and measure progress.

Required Equipment:

  • 500-600 rounds of factory ammunition
  • Carbine in good working order (bring a backup in the same caliber if possible), 5 magazines
  • Sturdy sling
  • Magazine pouch/chest rig that will hold at least 4 magazines
  • Sturdy belt or duty belt
  • Comfortable clothing (no tank tops or flip flops)
  • Eye and ear protection
