I remember after working with the red cross in hurricane katrina setting up networks for them and being there for the 4 weeks , the amount of stress that i was under and the stufft that i had seen and to deal with was a bit overwelming. I wasn’t able to help everyone find there familys and it was extremely hard for myself to tell people that “I am sorry your wife/husband/child has not been logged into the computer, please check back with me later. When I came back home I didn’t want to touch a computer for a long time. But I found the comfort I needed in the computers by teaching and helping people learn how to use them if there was a emergancy or for general use. This helps me deal with the everyday reminder that is in the back of my head.
